What Quercus for Students does

Quercus for Students is a web portal for students which gives access to:

information about the student’s courses

the services enabled for the student – such as Apply Online and Build Curriculum

links to related sites or services

messages sent via the Communication Manager module

exam results

financial information including payment transactions, funding credits, instalment plans and outstanding balances

personal profile information

In addition, if your policy allows it, a student can update personal profile information.

How access to the Quercus for Students is controlled

A link to Quercus for Students can be added to your institution’s web site.

Students log in using credentials stored on the LDAP server. You can add new users via the User Accounts options in Control Centre Set-Up. If a student created an account during the Apply Online process the same user name and password will also give access to Quercus for Students once the applicant has been pre-registered or registered.
