Submitting requests

Accessing a service

All Case Manager live services can be accessed from the Quercus Gateway by clicking on the Submit Request button.

Alternatively this button can be embedded into your institution’s web portal using LiveLink.

Submitting a request

A student can submit a request through any of the Case Manager services. The student selects the appropriate services and then completes the survey associated with the service. After the student submits the request it appears in the Quercus Control Centre where it can be processed.

To submit a request

1From the Quercus Gateway or from your institution’s web portal, click on the Submit Request button.

A list of Case Manager services is displayed.

2Select the appropriate service and complete the survey associated with the services (see Build the student-facing web pages).

After you submit the request, a confirmation screen opens showing a summary of the request.

The request is then available for processing in the administration section of Quercus. The screenshot below shows how the above submission appears to an administrator.

Viewing requests

A student can view a list of submitted requests and incomplete requests.

To view submitted requests

1From the Quercus Gateway or from your institution’s web portal, click on the My Requests button.

A list of your requests and their current statuses appears.

2To view details of a request, or resume editing a request, click the link.
